Thank you, Christopher, for this project. I look forward to your next post!

  2. Hello. My name is Cheryl and I’m the pianist at my church. My pastor wants me to learn, “It’s Just Like His Great Love”. Could you please post that? Thanks, it would mean so much.

  3. Bill Goossens says:

Thanks you so much for this site! I conduct a worship service at a nursing home every Sunday afternoon and these piano hymns have proved invaluable for our singing. I was able to find hymns and songs here just in piano that I was not able to find elsewhere. GREAT JOB!!

  4. June A Nadolny says:

    Dear Mr. Tan:

Thank you for making your deeply moving piano arrangements to these beloved hymns accessible in the public domain.

I just discovered your site last evening while looking for an audio of the hymn ‘At Calvary’, in order that I might sing along. I must say I was very disappointed with the renditions others offered online of this hymn at other sites, until I came across yours. You truly have captured the beauty, reverence and solemnity of this hymn and the appropriate soft and gentle tempo so appropriate to the lyrics. Because the tempo is so easy to follow, I can sing along with the lovely accompaniment you provide, and at the same time, reflect on the lyrics themselves.

I am now in the process of exploring your site for additional hymns I am fond of, and have found them all to be a genuine source of blessing. In addition to ‘At Calvary, I have also downloaded ‘He Hideth My Soul, Alas And Did My Saviour Bleed, I Know Whom I Have Believeth, and There Is No Name So Sweet On Earth. I am hopeful yet to find a piano arrangement of the hymn, ‘Jehovah Tsidkenu’!

Please know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Cor.15:58)
Truly this project represents a labor-intensive effort, but I do sense it is for you . . . . a labour of love!

I want you to know that I have been richly blessed by the gifts and talents the Lord has bestowed upon you that you use to His praise and glory and graciously share with others for the edification of His church!

    In Christian fellowship,

    June A. Nadolny

    Dear Mr. Tan:

I went to your site this Lord’s Day, 8-23-09, and found to my surprise, that my hymn request, Jehovah Tsidkenu, was at the top of the ‘Hymn Listings’ As you indicated, the melody is identical to that of the hymn, ‘My Jesus I Love You’, one whose lyrics I know and love as well. Thanks for so quickly accommodating my request . . I have already downloaded it to my computer. The arrangement you have given to this hymn is quite lovely and one to which I will add my voice often in the praise and worship of our God.

Perhaps as time permits, you might consider adding the following hymns which I so love to sing to your site as well:

    - ‘I Serve a Risen Saviour’,
(sometimes referred to as ‘He Lives’)
    - ‘O Bless the Lord, my Soul’
    - ‘To Thy Temple I Repair’
    - ‘How Blest is he whose Trespasses has freely been forgiv’n’
    - ‘Wonderful Words of Life’

Thanks in advance for your consideration to my requests.

    In Christian fellowship,

    June A. Nadolny

  7. June A Nadolny says:

    Dear Mr. Tan:

Thank you so very much for adding the hymn ‘Wonderful Words of Life’ to your listing.

I must say once again, your unique and graceful piano style offers a delightful expression most agreeable to the lyrics of this quaint little hymn, which I so love to sing.

You’re quite an artist my friend. Thanks again for accommodating my request.

    In Christian fellowship,

    June A. Nadolny

  23. Gary C. says:

This site and body of work is absolutely incredible and such a kind gift. I had been looking for weeks for decent piano accompaniment, and everything I found was either midi or “bang-bang” style playing. Your playing is just right and especially appreciate the intro’s and varying the sounds a bit from verse to verse.

This is truly an act in service to the Lord.

I will get a lot of use out of these recordings for singing at home with my wife, small groups, and nursing home ministries.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

And my God bless you richly for your generosity!

  24. handmaid says:

What a blessing this list of hymns has been to me! You have my top 10-15 favorite hymns on here. Only one I am missing is O For a Faith that will not Shrink. May full reward from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be given unto you.

  25. Jim Esteban says:

If you can find a method for playing the music without using flash then this site would be okay for an IPOD Touch.

  26. Pastor Jack Warren says:

    Mr. Tan,

My daughter passed away at the end of 2009. This was not only a great personal loss but a great loss to the ministry. She had been pianist and soloist for about fifteen years in our little church. We had been without accompaniment since her death until I recently found your website. You are now our pianist every Lord’s day and a wonderful source of comfort and help to my little congregation. Thank you very much.

    Thank you (:

    Chritopher,

15 months ago I started to learn one hymn monthly from this web-site. Thro’ singing and meditating the hymn at noon daily, I get strength to deal with my depression. Hoping you can add SEND REFRESHING to your collection. The hymn was written by Daniel W. Whittle (1840-1901).
