it was sung in the worship service this morning at ACCCNW in Marietta, GA.!
isn’t that wonderful!
i was asked to lead their choir retreat this past weekend.
i usually would sing it in a little bit faster tempo to have a better momentum.
this is one of my favorite since junior high.

woke up this morning with this song in my heart and had to come searching for the lyrics. glad i found it here. you are doing a good job. however, i think it is important to also have not just when the song was written but circumstances surrounding the writing of the song. sure you understand. that way one can really understand what the spirit is saying to that person at that time. i mean the interpretation of such songs as it affects the present day believer. all the same, tanks for a job welldone. This is the hymn I love the most, my Lord Jesus Christ came,crucified and resurrected for our sins, he washed our sins because only he is woman’s offspring who has no sin, I would praise and proclaim his great name forever and ever!

I absolutely love this song for children. About 35 years ago I used the visualized version of this song while working with children. It was very effective! The kids love it! Also when I purchased the song it came with a short story entitled, “Riding Double With God.” When I told the story, my youngest brother played the song in the background. It turned out great! Over the years it seems that I have either misplaced the story or let someone use it and they didn’t return it. I am wondering if anyone else might have a copy of the story.
