I was in the Havenhill Baptist Church in Jamaica this week. My friend Evangelist Don Crosswhite preached a message on WHY. When Jesus asked the question “Why has thou forsaken me” it should have ended all questions, but it did not. It was a wonderfully helpful message – the altars were full. To close the service the pastor, Dr. Smith let the congretation in the singing of the chourus of “God is Still on the Throne”. I searched for the hymn and found your site. Could you give me direction as to which hymnal the hymn in four-part harmony may be published?

    Thanks,

I love this song soooo much, especially when the choir sings. I’ve always searched online for it but couldn’t find the real version.
This song always gives me reassurance during some of my most troublesome times. God bless you and your work!

Thank you. Your site helped me find the full version of this song, as I was preparing a sermon on Joel 1 and seeking to make it relevant to the 9/11 memorial. God is sovereign, whatever . . . If this is not true, how miserable and uncertain we must be.
